What happens to our keys?
Two sets of keys are required at the Meet & Greet appointment. One is used as a back-up for emergencies. Keys are usually not returned, but use for future visits. If you would like your key returned, we can return at the fee of a $10 visit or we can make arrangements to leave the keys at a designated spot for your retrieval upon your return home.
What about an emergency?
We do ask for a neighbor or emergency contact phone number in case of an emergency or inclement weather prevents us from making a timely visit. In all of my years doing this, I have never missed a visit.
Are we licensed and insured?
Do you administer medication or daily vitamins?
We do as long as it is topical or oral. There is no extra fee for this.
What if my vacation/trip is extended?
Just give us a call and we will gladly accommodate your new schedule. We understand that unforeseen things happen.
What form of payment do you take?
Venmo, cash, check (made out to Pet, Sit, Stay). Payment is expected before your scheduled visit(s).
Do you work holidays?
We sure do! New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve are all considered holidays for us and there will be an extra $10 fee for visits on these days.
What areas do you service?
West Knoxville, Hardin Valley, Karns, Farragut, Bearden, Rocky Hill.
Do we take care of special needs pets?
Yes, we do. We can discuss needs of the pet(s) at the Meet and Greet.
What happens if there is inclement weather?
We will make every effort to get to your pet. We drive 4wheel drive vehicles, so we can make it to our scheduled visits. Weather may impact the length of the walk if that is requested in the visit. We will make up for extra playtime inside if our walk is cut short due to weather.
Can I cancel my scheduled visits?
Of course you can, but we ask for a 48 hour notice. Again, we understand things come up, but we ask for notice without needing to charge.
What are your hours of operation?
We can start walking your dog as early as 6 a.m. Our last visit for the day is 9 p.m. If you are looking for a mid-day break for your pet, we schedule those from 9:30a.m.-3:00p.m. If you have a special request, just let us know and we will try to accommodate.
What should I do when I get home from a trip?
Just send me a quick text to let me know you made it home & I will know that your pet(s) is back in your care.
What type of pets do we pet sit?
We care for dogs, cats, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, lizards, birds, fish, etc. We will watch almost all animals. Just ask to see if we can accommodate.
